GATSBY & FISHER – The 1920s Collection

Over 12 months in the planning and making, this collection will be released on Wednesday 24th July at 8:30pm AEST on my website cordelle.com.au!

Collection release

I have always loved the 1920s for its style – the clothes, shoes, hairstyles and even the cars!

It stands to reason then that one of my favourite book series is the Phryne Fisher mysteries by Kerry Greenwood, set in 1920s Melbourne. I love Phryne’s sass, class and her taste in fashion and interior decorating – not to mention how good she is at solving crime mysteries! So, imagine my excitement when this series of books was made into a television series! This series, aired on ABC TV last year, revived my passion for 1920s fashion and style and the workings of a new collection began in my head.

Then, with the release of Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, I knew that this was the time to really delve into the 1920s and finally create my inspired collection.

And so, the GATSBY & FISHER collection was born!

I have released a preview album of the collection on my Facebook page here, and an album from the fun 1920s style photo shoot displaying the collection can be seen here.

The collection will officially be released for sale on my website cordelle.com.au on Wednesday 24th July at 8:30pm AEST with an Early Shopper Pass up for grabs via a little game on my Facebook page beforehand (at which, if you have read this post, you will do well!). I hope you will don your flapper dress and feather boa, dance the charleston with me and delve back in time for this special event!
